28TH DEC 2024 - 2ND JAN 2025
Summer is just around the corner!
Unplug from the hustle and bustle and renew with God, relax in the sun, dive into creation, and reconnect as a family or take time to pause, relax and recalibrate… at the Orama Summer Camp!
We'd be honoured to have you join us at Orama on Great Barrier Island for a trip you will remember for a lifetime!
Are you looking for a great break, adventure, or just some time out? Or some quality family time away from the distractions of day-to-day life and technology? Here at Orama, you choose what your day looks like resting, swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking and adventuring.
There will be worship and gathering times, quiet spaces, creativity times, activities and adventure...
What you can expect
We are a paradise away from the hurry and hectic of mainland life, where nature surrounds us, the water is on our doorstep, the Kākā and Tūi chortle in the trees, the hiking trails begin and most importantly, where rest comes easily.
There will be opportunities for rest as well as lots of fun activities, times for restoration in worship and communion with God and others.
Activities Included
New Year’s Eve celebration with live music
Beach excursion
Nerf War + Fun games on the front lawn
Smores and singing around the fire pit
Devotions and worship times
Giant Water slide
Accommodation
Accommodation options include self-contained units on the waterfront, rooms in the main lodge with shared facilities, or hillside cabins with shared facilities with an elevated view of the bay for sunset. The choice is yours. In every case, all towels and linens will be provided.
Meals
At Orama we have two chefs. We know … we are blessed!!
All your meals will be prepared with aroha that you will feel, see, smell, and most definitely taste! Please let us know on application your specific needs/allergies. There is an additional cost for dietary meals.
