Housekeeper – Seasonal (October to March)
 Orama, Great Barrier Island

Your Responsibilities

Orama is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our accommodation team for the summer season, October through March.

You’ll be the person who makes sure every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming space. This role covers:

  • Cleaning and preparing guest accommodation between stays to a high standard
  • Cleaning bathrooms and communal guest areas
  • Making beds, restocking guest amenities, and general tidying
  • Managing the in-house laundry for Orama, including guest linen, towels, and accommodation stock
  • Reporting maintenance issues or damage as you find them
  • Working alongside our Guest Services team to keep turnaround times on track, especially on changeover days

Hours: 20–30 hours per week, seasonal (Oct–Mar)

  • You work efficiently and calmly, even when things get busy
  • You enjoy being part of a team and communicate well with others
  • You’re comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
  • You have some housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality experience — helpful, but not essential

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our team over the summer season. This role is an important part of creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. You’ll help care for our accommodation, making sure spaces are clean, comfortable and ready for the people arriving next.

You’ll work alongside our Guest Services and wider team, with a mix of housekeeping, laundry and general accommodation duties.
