The Woolshed Transformation
Thanks to the fantastic folk at MMM and the support of the Great Barrier Local Board, the old woolshed has been transformed into a beautiful creative arts studio, now known as the Woolshed Art Studio. What was once a tired and weathered building has been given new life, and is now a space where creativity can thrive.
We welcome artisans of all kinds to make the most of the space to pursue creative endeavours with paint, wood, fabric, clay and other mediums. Our vision is that people will come here to learn, make, share, and be inspired, and that the studio will support creative expression for many years to come.
We’re also greatful for the support of our Local Board for the grant of $15,000 towards the removal of Asbestos within the Woolshed, which allowed us to complete the renovations.
